Testimonials

We've gone through this tunnel, like the Dark Night of the Soul, and we have come out the other side. I know for me, the most important thing was to hear from others who have gone through a hip replacement; the research and referrals. All of this was part of my journey and initiation into Baby Boomerdom. I researched, studied and let people know what I was going through; and I was referred to other men and women who have gone through the same thing. It really helped me learn more about my condition, and what to do about it.
They offered resources, ideas, referrals to doctor, physical therapists, hynpotherapists and shared their emotional support and encouragement with me. I understand that soon I will be out of this horrific bone-on-bone pain and be able to get on with MOVING FORWARD with my life! What a gift!
So, for you - I have created this community, this Hipter Club - a place to learn and find support and most importantly KNOW that you are NOT alone!

I was unsure what to expect from the surgery, I was almost considering staying in pain and praying for a "cure". I tried healers, psychics, supplements, physical therapists, swimming, bizzaire machines. I knelt down on my knees and bargained with god. I cried when I could not even tie my shoes or put on socks. I found support from other people who have gone before me, they gave me tips and support to move forward pain free and schedule my hip replacement. I have now been motivated to help others find what I found...and I give thanks for this life changing and pay-it-forward experience! -- Jodi Seidler |
