Hipster Club — Putting the HIP Back in Hip Replacement

About Jodi

Meet Jodi

Lifelong researcher, investigative journalist, health advocate — and double Hipster.

Jodi Seidler is the founder of Hipster Club and a double Hipster — she has had two hip replacements herself. What began as years of living with significant hip pain, researching her options, and navigating surgery and recovery became the foundation for everything Hipster Club is today.

Her perspective comes from lived experience, years of research, investigative journalism, and patient advocacy — not from a clinical background. She is a patient who did the work, and then built a place so others wouldn't have to start from scratch.

Jodi's Hip Story

From Patient to Patient Leader

Jodi Seidler learned early in life that she would need both hips replaced. What began as research for her own survival turned into a mission to help others.

As a "double HIPster" — having undergone two hip replacements herself — she brings unmatched empathy and firsthand insight to her work. She understands the emotional uncertainty, physical challenges, and overwhelming amount of conflicting information that patients face.

In her own words: "I learned early in life that I would need both hips replaced. What began as research for my own survival turned into a mission to help others. I built communities, shared information, and connected people so they wouldn't have to go through it alone. Over time, that passion grew into advocacy, media opportunities, and a platform to give patients the guidance I once wished I had."

Why I Created Hipster Club

Why Hipster Club Exists

Jodi created Hipster Club because she couldn't find a space that felt real, reassuring, and actually useful. She wanted a place where information felt modern, friendly, and human — not stiff, not overly clinical, not outdated.

Think of it as your hip-healing clubhouse: welcoming, supportive, and always up-to-date with the best science has to offer.

Her message is clear: You can reclaim your mobility, your confidence, and your life — and you don't have to do it alone.
